SetEdit, or Settings Database Editor app, provides users with the ability to adjust advanced Android system settings that were previously inaccessible without rooting.
The SetEdit app displays the content of the Android settings configuration file, known as the settings database, presenting it as a list of key-value pairs within SYSTEM, GLOBAL, SECURE, or ANDROID properties tables. It enables users to modify, delete, or add new settings. While SetEdit can be a valuable tool for knowledgeable users, it is important to exercise caution as unintended modifications may occur.
SetEdit offers numerous customization options to enhance the user experience and system functionality. Many users leverage SetEdit to:
